Refunds, Delivery & Cancellations

This policy explains how our digital products are delivered, and your rights to cancel or request a refund. It applies to all purchases made through thegallbladderkitchen.com.
Delivery
Format. All products sold here are digital downloads, supplied as PDF files. Nothing is posted to you.
Timing. Delivery is instant. Immediately after payment you’ll be taken to a confirmation page with your download link, and the same link will be emailed to the address you provided at checkout.
Cost. There are no delivery charges.
Download limits. Your link allows up to 5 downloads within 30 days of purchase. We’d recommend saving the file to your device or cloud storage as soon as you receive it. If your link expires or you run out of downloads, just email us and we’ll send a fresh one at no cost.
If it doesn’t arrive. Please check your spam, junk, and promotions folders first, as automated emails sometimes land there. If it’s still missing, email rachel@thegallbladderkitchen.com and we’ll get your files to you promptly.
Software. You’ll need a PDF reader to open your files. Most phones, tablets, and computers have one built in; if not, Adobe Acrobat Reader is free.
Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you would normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase.
Because our products are delivered instantly, at checkout you are asked to confirm that:
- you consent to your download beginning immediately, and
- you understand that once it does, you lose your 14-day right to cancel
By ticking that box and completing your purchase, you give that consent. We are therefore unable to offer refunds simply because you’ve changed your mind after downloading. We’ll confirm this in your order confirmation email.
If you’d prefer to keep your cancellation right, please don’t complete the purchase — email us instead and we’ll talk it through.
When we will refund you
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. We will always provide a refund, replacement, or partial refund where the law requires it — including if:
- The file is corrupt, incomplete, or won’t open, and we can’t fix it for you
- The product is not as described on our website
- You were charged twice, or charged in error
- You haven’t yet downloaded the product and ask to cancel within 14 days
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it falls short, we’ll try to put it right first — and if we can’t, you’re entitled to a refund.
To request a refund, email rachel@thegallbladderkitchen.com with your order number and a brief description of the problem. We aim to reply within 2 working days and process approved refunds within 14 days, to your original payment method.
What we can’t refund
- Change of mind after you’ve downloaded and consented as above
- Not having the software or device needed to open a PDF (we’re happy to help you find a free reader)
- Dissatisfaction with results, since individual dietary tolerances vary — please see our Disclaimer
- Products bought from a third party rather than directly from us
Licence and sharing
Your purchase is for your own personal use. Please don’t share, resell, or redistribute the files or your download link. Full terms are on our Disclaimer page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a revised “last updated” date.
The version in force at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to your order — we won’t apply changes retroactively.
